How do I update my Lincoln Account or Lincoln Way^®* username?

To change your username using the Lincoln Way App:

1. Log in to the Lincoln Way App.
2. Tap the Home icon and select Account.
   
    
3. ​Select Sign in & Security.
4. Sign in to www.lincolncanada.com.
5. Tap Edit under the "Email" header.

6. Enter the verification code sent to your email address.

   Note: You can have a new code sent to your email by tapping Send New Code.

7. Click Submit.
8. Enter a new email address and click Request Code.
9. Follow the additional steps provided in the email sent to the new email address.

Notes:

• You will receive an error if you enter an email in the incorrect format. The wrong field will be highlighted or underlined in red to display the error.
• Changing your username will automatically adjust your preferred contact email.
• You will receive a confirmation email that your username has been changed.
• Changing your username does not affect your password.

To change your username using the Lincoln Website:

1. Visit Lincolncanada.com.
2. Log in to your Lincoln Account. 
   1. Select My Lincoln on the upper right of the screen.
   2. Click Register/Sign In.
3. Select My Lincoln on the upper right of the screen.
4. Click Account/Manage Settings.
5. Scroll down and select Edit now under the "Sign In & Security" tab.
6. Select Edit under the "Email" section.

7. Enter the verification code sent to your email address.

   Note: You can have a new code sent to your email by tapping Send New Code.

8. Click Submit.
9. Enter a new email address and click Request Code.
10. Follow the additional steps provided in the email sent to the new email address.
