How do I update my Lincoln Account or Lincoln Way®* username?
Your Lincoln Account and Lincoln Way App account share the same username, which is also your email. You can update your username from your Lincoln Account or the Lincoln Way App by following the steps below.
Notes:
- Updating your username/email (through either method below) will change the username for both your Lincoln Account and Lincoln Way App account.

Changing Your Lincoln Username
Select the platform you are using from the drop-down options below for the instructions to change your username:
From the Lincoln Way App
To change your username using the Lincoln Way App:
- Log in to the Lincoln Way App.
- Tap the Home icon and select Account.
- Select Sign in & Security.
- Sign in to www.lincolncanada.com.
- Tap Edit under the "Email" header.
Enter the verification code sent to your email address.
Note: You can have a new code sent to your email by tapping Send New Code.
- Click Submit.
- Enter a new email address and click Request Code.
- Follow the additional steps provided in the email sent to the new email address.
Notes:
- You will receive an error if you enter an email in the incorrect format. The wrong field will be highlighted or underlined in red to display the error.
- Changing your username will automatically adjust your preferred contact email.
- You will receive a confirmation email that your username has been changed.
- Changing your username does not affect your password.
From the Lincoln Website
To change your username using the Lincoln Website:
- Visit Lincolncanada.com.
- Log in to your Lincoln Account.
- Select My Lincoln on the upper right of the screen.
- Click Register/Sign In.
- Select My Lincoln on the upper right of the screen.
- Click Account/Manage Settings.
- Scroll down and select Edit now under the "Sign In & Security" tab.
- Select Edit under the "Email" section.
Enter the verification code sent to your email address.
Note: You can have a new code sent to your email by tapping Send New Code.
- Click Submit.
- Enter a new email address and click Request Code.
- Follow the additional steps provided in the email sent to the new email address.
