How do I request a Recall Clearance Letter for my Lincoln?
You can request a Recall Clearance Letter by contacting your Lincoln Retailer.
Notes:
- If you are an American resident or your vehicle was built for use in the United States (U.S.), contact the Lincoln Customer Relationship Center at 1-800-387-9333.
- If your vehicle was built for use in countries other than the U.S. and Canada, visit the Importing a Vehicle page on the Transport Canada website for more details.
As part of the export process, a foreign government may require a Recall Clearance Letter to confirm that the vehicle being imported is free of open safety, compliance, or emissions recalls. Drafted on Ford Motor Company of Canada stationery, the letter certifies that the vehicle does not have any open recalls.
Important: All open recalls must be performed by a Lincoln Retailer or Ford Dealer before requesting the letter. To check for recall on your vehicle, visit the Ford Recall page, and enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
