How do I unlock my Lincoln vehicle without a key?

If you locked your keys inside your vehicle and a spare key is not available, you may still be able to get into your vehicle with the Lincoln Way®* App, a Keyless Entry Code, or Roadside Assistance**.

Unlocking Your Vehicle Without a Key

Select the method you are using from the drop-down options below to attempt to unlock your vehicle without a key.

Important: Lincoln cannot remotely unlock a vehicle.

Lincoln Way App

If you previously downloaded the Lincoln Way App and activated Lincoln Connect®†, you can remotely unlock your vehicle with the feature Phone As A Key††. To unlock your vehicle using the Lincoln Way App:

  1. Log in to the Lincoln Way App.
  2. Tap Home.

Note: If you have multiple vehicles in your account, select the vehicle you are attempting to unlock.

  3. Press and hold the Unlock button until the circle starts spinning.

Keyless Entry Code (if equipped)

The Keyless Entry Code lets you unlock the vehicle's doors by using your five-digit entry code.

  • If you know your Keyless Entry Code, enter it on the vehicle's keypad.
  • If you do not know your Keyless Entry Code, a copy of the five-digit code was provided on a wallet-sized card with the Owner's Manual.

Roadside Assistance

If you are unable to unlock your vehicle, contact Roadside Assistance at 1-844-665-2007.

Note: Roadside Assistance is included with your vehicle's New Vehicle Limited and Powertrain Warranty. It is also included with certain Lincoln Protect Extended Service Plans.
