How do I remove Lincoln Connect modem access for authorized users?
To remove authorized users, you can complete a Lincoln Connect®* reset on your vehicle's SYNC®** or Digital Experience screen. For more information, refer to the steps below.
Important:
- This reset removes all Lincoln Connect accounts linked to your vehicle.
- To remove all previous owners, users, data, and in-vehicle settings, perform a Factory Reset. A Factory Reset also deletes your navigation favourites, SiriusXM presets, and makes all SYNC 4 subscriptions unavailable for up to 10 days.
Resetting the Lincoln Connect Modem
Important: Ensure your vehicle is on and running in a well-ventilated area, and is in Park (P).
Select your SYNC generation from the drop-down options below to learn how to reset your vehicle's Lincoln Connect modem. If you need assistance determining the generation of your SYNC system, select the first drop-down option.
Note: Instructions may vary. Refer to your Owner’s Manual for information specific to your vehicle.

Lincoln Digital Experience
- Enter and start your vehicle.
- Tap the Apps icon on your vehicle's Lincoln Digital Experience screen.
- Choose Settings.
- Select System.
- Tap Reset Options.
- Choose Connectivity Reset.
- Select Erase network data.
SYNC 4
- Enter and start your vehicle.
- Select Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
- Tap the General icon.
- Scroll down and select Reset.
- Tap Lincoln Connect Reset.
- Scroll down and select Reset All.
Note: A message will be displayed confirming that all Lincoln Connect settings will be erased and reset to the factory default.
- Choose Continue.
- Activate your vehicle.
Note: If you have connected navigation with an active subscription, the connectivity settings will need to be turned back on.
SYNC 3
- Enter and start your vehicle.
- Select Settings from your vehicle's SYNC screen.
- Tap General.
- Scroll down and select Reset.
- Tap Lincoln Connect Reset.
- Scroll down to select Reset All.

- Choose Continue.
- Activate your vehicle.

Connected service and features depend on compatible Bell network availability. Evolving technology/cellular networks/vehicle capability may limit functionality and prevent operation of connected features. Connected service excludes Wi-Fi® hotspot.
**Don't drive while distracted or while using handheld devices. Use voice-operated systems when possible. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear. Not all features are compatible with all phones.
