How do I stop a remote start request in Lincoln Way?

If you selected to remote start using the Lincoln Way®* App and would like to cancel your request, use the steps below.

Note: You can only cancel remote starts that were requested directly within the Lincoln Way App. 

Canceling a Remote Start Request 

Select your Lincoln Way experience to learn how to stop a remote start.

Lincoln Way App 4.X Experience

To stop your remote start in Lincoln Way:

  1. Open the Lincoln Way App. 
  2. Go to the Home screen.
  3. Press and hold the Stop button, allowing the white line to travel around the button's edge.

An alert will display for 10 seconds, confirming that your vehicle stopped successfully.

Lincoln Way App 5.X Experience

To turn off your remote start in Lincoln Way:

  1. Open the Lincoln Way App. 
  2. Go to the Vehicle screen.
  3. Slide the Start toggle to the left of your screen. 

The request will load and your vehicle status will change.
