How do I authorize another user to my Connected Vehicle?

As an owner, you can authorize other users to have access to remote commands for your vehicle. When another user requests authorization, you will receive an authorization request in the Lincoln Way®* App Message Center.

To view and approve or deny requests:

  1. Log in to the Lincoln Way App.
  2. Access the Account screen.
  3. Select the Message Centre tile.
  4. Locate and select the Vehicle Access Request message.
  5. Choose one of the following options:
    • Tap Yes to grant the user access to commands. Lincoln Way will require you to enter your Username and Password to authenticate the access request.
    • Tap No to reject the request. The denied user can request four more times after their first request. If the request is denied for all five requests, they will receive a Request Blocked message.
  6. Press Next to complete the request.

If you are still experiencing an authorization issue, contact a Lincoln Concierge via chat or call through your Account by selecting the tile Help in your Lincoln Way App.
