Why is my Lincoln Way®* App showing "Activation in Progress?"
You might receive a pop-up confirming that your activation is in progress when requesting access to the remote features if some activation steps are not completed.
Completing Your Activation Process
Choose your scenario from the drop-down option below to complete your activation:
You completed all modem activation steps, but an error is causing a delay.
If you have completed all required steps and your activation remains in progress:
- Tap OK on the pop-up message.
- Navigate to the Account screen.
- Select Help and contact a Lincoln Concierge for additional support.
You began the activation process, but you have not completed the in-vehicle steps.
If the steps on your vehicle screen are not completed:
- Tap OK on the pop-up message.
Accept the activation message on the in-vehicle screen.

You requested activation permission for a vehicle, but your request has not been approved.
If you requested vehicle access, your request must be approved before you can move forward.
Tap Continue on the pop-up message and Lincoln Way will direct you back to the Home screen. Before you can access the commands, your request has to be accepted by an activated user.
You initiated your modem activation, but after 90 seconds, your status in Lincoln Way returns to "Activate Vehicle."
After 90 seconds you can request to activate again. If your status does not change after three attempts, contact a Lincoln Concierge for an escalation.
