Which Lincoln vehicles are compatible with Apple CarPlay?

Apple CarPlay® is available on the following Lincoln vehicles:

  • 2017 and newer vehicles equipped SYNC® 3 or SYNC 4.
  • 2016 vehicles with SYNC 3 and software version 2.0 or greater.

Important: Apple CarPlay is unavailable on SYNC 3 Lite and any SYNC systems that do not have a touchscreen.

How do I identify my SYNC version?

Requires phone with active data service and compatible software. SYNC 3 and SYNC 4 do not control 3rd party products while in use. 3rd Parties are solely responsible for their respective functionality.

Don’t drive while distracted or while using handheld devices. Use voice-operated systems when possible. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear. Not all features are compatible with all phones.
